Imageland Edelman PR Agency Holds Microsoft-1C Joint Press Conference [11.09.2008]
On September 4, 2008 Imageland Edelman conducted a press conference on a new stage of Microsoft-1C cooperation.
The companies announced signing an agreement naming 1C the official developer of games for Xbox 360. In addition, they concluded a distributor contract entitling 1C to market Microsoft gaming platform. As early as October 2008 Xbox 360 and its accessories will hit the market.
The documents signed represent a serious stage on a way of the two companies collaboration in the frames of Xbox 360 promotion in Russia.
Two major gaming projects developed by 1C for Xbox 360 - IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey flight simulator and Age of Pirates: Captain Blood action game – were demonstrated at the conference. Both games are planned to be launched in 2009.
Both companies were satisfied with the press conference.
Imageland Edelman’s specialists managed the conferences and interacted with media. As a result, the event was attended by over 50 journalists from leading publications, online media and four TV channels. After the conference number or interviews for TV and printed media were arranged.
